On Thursday 26 October 2023, the Clean Energy Council and Energy Efficiency Council will host the inaugural Careers for Net Zero Fair.
The fair is taking place alongside the well-established All-Energy Australia conference and exhibition at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The fair will become a major annual event showcasing the breadth and depth of career opportunities available to those looking to deliver an equitable, prosperous, net zero economy.
The inaugural fair will launch a national campaign that will use social and traditional media to highlight the career opportunities across Australia’s clean economy, driving Australians at all levels of education and experience toward training and jobs nationwide.
School leavers, recent graduates and existing professionals will be drawn to a website that highlights the professional development pathways and jobs opportunities for many of the roles that are essential to delivering an equitable, prosperous, net zero economy.
Ten real Australians in trades and professional roles across the clean economy will be championed as part of the campaign, driving people to a website to learn more about the skills and training requirements for these jobs and many more.
The fair and campaign will be launched in person by Co-CEO of Atlassian and Chair of Boundless Earth, Mike Cannon-Brookes.
With the focus of the Careers for Net Zero Fair and Campaign on the jobs and skills opportunities available across Australia’s clean economy, the CEC and EEC are offering a limited number of sponsorship opportunities for the 2023 fair and campaign.
Interested organisations are invited to express their interest in sponsoring the fair and campaign via this link.
